partner of excellence at the Fly Olympia event
The Chronolink Group, a family business established more than 25 years ago, developed in Greece, Romania, Cyprus and Lebanon, has been, throughout time, a supporter of excellence in all its forms. One of the most recent examples took place in June, in Greece, where Chronolink was a partner and sponsor of the "Fly Olympia" event, a pole vault competition, an Olympic track and field event, which took place on June 18, 2023, in the city of Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.
Organized by the Greek pole vault champion Emmanuil Karalis, the "Fly Olympia" contest is, from this year, included in the Silver category of the Continental Tour series, part of the calendar of the World Athletics. The 2023 edition is bringing together national and international champions, in a unique competition format, the entire event taking place on the street, in the presence of the public.
After a close competition, with many changes in the chart and raising the bar up to the value of 5 meters and 81 cm, the winner was the Frenchman Thibaut Collet, followed by Emmanuil Karalis (5.76m) and the American Clayton Fritsch with 5.71 meters. But above all, it was the spirit of competition and fair play that animated the whole day and caused immense joy among those present, both public and contestants.
The meeting took place under the auspices of the Hellenic Athletics Association, the Greek Ministry of Sports, as well as the Ministry of Tourism, with the support of the Peloponnese Regional Administration and the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, Chronolink being partner of the event and supporter of sports performance.
